Uncle Joseph

We had a special visitor! Uncle Joseph (pronounced either "Unkee Joes" or "Unkee Jofus") came to see us all the way from Washington. I thought he was scary at first, but he turned out to be very nice.

We went to the Air and Space Museum. Uncle Joseph tried to teach Mommy how an engine works.

Daddy also enjoyed the visit... turns out they both like to play video games late at night!

We also went to the zoo. Here's my best imitation of the snapping tortoise.

Why is Mommy's "little" brother taller than she is? I'm always going to be bigger than my little brother, right?

I showed Daddy how to ride on the froggy...

And then I went for a ride on Daddy!

Uncle Joseph also showed me some animals. He said that elephants had long noses, but I told him that they were called "trunks." Silly Uncle Joseph!

Apple Season

We went apple picking last weekend! It was really fun (and a little cold). I got to pick my own apples and put them in Daddy's special bag. Then I got to eat doughnuts and apple sticks! Does it get any better?

And we even made our own pie!

We spent the weekend before that at Comic Con in Baltimore. Daddy took me to meet Andy Runton, the guy who writes Owly. I'm a big fan.

This one's a little hard to explain... that's my Lego airplane that I built (Daddy said that it doesn't look like an airplane, but he's wrong). I'm wearing a new sweater from Ah-Ma and Ah-Gong. And guess what I'm going to be for Halloween?
