Birthday Girl

I'm a whole year old! Wow, time is going quickly! We celebrated the day by going out to lunch, where I got to feed myself.

I got tired afterwards -- it's hard to stay awake with a full tummy!

I woke up when we got to the park, I woke up ready to play. First, I went on the swings!

Hey, everybody!

To be honest, I was a bit scared of the swings. So, Daddy and I went on another swing for grown-ups.

Um... not too high, Daddy!

Then I went down the slide. Daddy came too.

Ready, set, go!

Finally, we walked over to look at the ducks in the pond. I wanted to go pet them, but they kept flying away.

When we went home, I had to take a nap. Then, it was time for presents!

I got a monkey! His name is "Monkey."

This is my rocking horse. I'm a bit scared of it since my feet don't touch the ground yet.

And then it was time for cake!! Mommy and Daddy took off my overalls and had me eat it in my diaper -- they thought there would be less to clean up that way. (There was still plenty to clean up, actually! I was messy.)
