Adventures in Emmie-Land
It's been quite an exciting week! I've been busy exploring and trying new things, and Mommy and Daddy have been busy trying to keep up with me. Let's see... there were a few "firsts" for me. I'll start with the one I'm not that proud of (but it TOTALLY wasn't my fault). I broke my first bowl -- Mommy was feeding me and I wanted to touch the bowl she was holding, and I accidentally whacked it too hard. In all fairness, however, I think she should have had a better grip on it. I gave her my cutest look, and I didn't get in much trouble at all. I'll have to remember that strategy.
I also enjoyed my first opening day of baseball! The Dodgers won, and I got to wear my cool new baseball hat.
I'm also pulling myself up on things (e.g., Daddy), and I'm very good at crawling now. No barriers can contain me!
Gimme back my toy, Daddy!
And last, but not least, I'm doing impersonations. Here's me as mini-Hulk.
Um... and this is a bit embarrassing, but... I can't roll to my left. Mommy and Daddy just noticed that I always roll to my right. So, they put me next to the wall so I would have to roll to my left, and I just squirmed and squirmed until I could roll to my right. I like to think of it as being efficient. Why would I need to be able to roll both ways when one is sufficient?
