Food -- Finally!!

I finally got to taste real food today! Daddy and Mommy mixed some milk with rice cereal, and I got to have my first solid food for lunch. It was pretty good, but I don't understand the whole spoon concept. It seems very inefficient. I kept trying to just put my whole face into the bowl -- it would have been much faster -- but they made me use the spoon.

It was funny when Mommy realized that my bib wasn't actually waterproof and that my shirt was really wet. I suppose it was partly my fault... I tend to blow the food off the spoon instead of swallowing it. What can I say? Eating is hard for babies! But it sure is good, and I can't wait until dinner.
