Busy Times

I've been busy the last two weeks! Daddy had a week off, and we went to see as many of the sights as possible before we left DC. First, we walked around the Tidal Basin (well, I rode in my stroller). We saw the Jefferson Memorial...

and the Roosevelt Memorial.

We also went to Great Falls, one of the national parks nearby. Daddy carried me the whole way -- that's me sleeping under my pink hat.

Next, we went to the zoo and saw lions and tigers! It's a good thing Daddy took a lot of pictures, since I slept the whole time. Here we are by the lions!

Then, Mommy and Daddy tried to go to the National Gallery of Art. It was too quiet inside though, so I woke up and started to cry. Boy, did I echo in that gallery! Daddy had to take me outside to try to calm me down, and then I decided that I was hungry. Mommy fed me, and then they decided to leave. So, here we are outside. I don't think we'll be going back to any indoor galleries again for awhile.

Uncle Paul came to visit us, and we went hiking at Roosevelt Island. He's a good photographer (I wonder if he can edit out the drool on my chin?) so here's a picture of me with Mommy and Daddy.

Then, we got on a plane and went home to Los Angeles! I have my own room, and I get to sleep in a big crib rather than my old little bassinet. Here I am!
